Parking.

Our practice in Retford is located on West Street, next door to West Street long stay ‘pay and display’ car park. This car park and has 40 spaces, of which 3 are disabled spaces (which are next to the car park’s entrance) and offers the option of a 4-hour or all day stay.

Alternatively short stay parking is available at the near by Asda car park (for which there is a charge), or New Street pay and display.

Recently Wharf Parkes have opened a Private car park on Wharf Road, whose entrance is opposite the Little Theatre. There are 42 parking spaces plus three disabled parking spaces. The cost is competative with the near by Council's West Street car park, however, it should be noted that, as this is a Privately owned car park, the 'Blue Badge' exemption to the parking fee DO NOT apply.

Wherever you park, we advise you check the fees and the terms and conditions carefully before leaving your vehicle.

Accessibility.

We have a short gentle slope up to our front door, which is wide enough to enable access for wheel chairs and mobility scooters. There are no steps or long gradients outside or on the ground floor.
If mobility is a problem, please advise our staff when booking your eye test so that they can ensure that ground floor test room is available. Our reception desk, and dispensing and spectacle fitting/adjustment areas are easily accessible on the ground floor.
